Imagine being able to undertake a challenging Alpine run only 90 minutes from Melbourne. Now you can with the choice of 3 distances – 14/21/31km along grassy tree lined ski trails amongst snow gums and on a challenging single track MBT course at an elevation over 1200m.
This is an opportunity to shake off the winter blues, to dust off your gear and pit yourself against the Lake Mountain course. Civilized trail running at its best!
The Lake Mountain Skyrun is an introductory style event to running in an alpine area and is open to anyone over 18 years of age with reasonable running experience. A small amount of navigational skill would be beneficial, but not critical as the Skyrun will be on a well-marked course. It is a fully supported run with aid stations at the start / finish plus locations along the course.
Location: Lake Mountain is approximately 90 minutes drive from Melbourne via Marysville.

Entry Restrictions The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to the event if a person is ill equipped or unfit for the event or considered a safety risk.
Age Limit – The minimum age for an entrant is 18 years old.
Track Etiquette: Lake Mountain is a major recreational walking/mountain biking area, runners are requested to show consideration to other track users. Participants also must offer assistance, if required to other runners in distress.
